Congratulations to the FVCC
November Students of the Month!
According to their respective instructors:
“Misael takes all assignments
seriously and works very professionally in my class. I always know that Misael is working on
something and using his time wisely. He
consistently rises to the challenge of whatever project we are working on. I appreciate the fact that he never gives
up.”
“Mohamud takes all
assignments seriously and works very professionally in my class. I always know that Mohamud is working on
something and using his time wisely. He
works well with others and is extremely reliable and responsible. Mohamud likes to take our class projects and
extend them, doing more advanced work and impressing everyone.”
“Students nominated Sean
Spaetzel as November Student of the Month for always being positive, helpful,
and creating strong designs. I have
noticed a big difference in Sean’s approach to design and pushing himself to
manage customer relations and improving his work.”
“Nick has gone above and
beyond what is expected of an Auto II student this year. He is possibly my most dedicated
student. He also won 1st
place in the regional SkillsUSA contest.
He is the type of person who will be successful at whatever he puts his
mind to.”
“Tyler is one of the nicest
students I have ever met. He is always
willing to help others in the class and never complains when asked to do
something. He is genuinely interested in
the material and always asks questions to help his understanding. He brings in projects to work on and always
jumps at the chance to work on a project that I bring in. That kind of attitude and ethic will take him
very far in this business.”
“Nicole is a great
student. She is hard working and has a
great ability to stay focused on task.
She turns all assignments in and goes above and beyond helping in group
assignments. She comes to class with a
positive attitude and an open mind to learn.
A pleasure to have in class!”
“Ken Wahab has been
identified by his instructors and peers as Fire Science II Student of the Month
for demonstrating strengths in the areas of:
character, attitude and disposition; respectfulness; class attendance;
hands-on participation; leadership and responsibility; extracurricular
activities (FVCC Fire Science Newsletter); fire service spirit; academics; good
work ethic; and conduct. The FVCC Fire
Science program recognizes these characteristics as essential traits for future
employment in today’s fire service.”
“Anthony Carlini has been
identified as Fire Science I Student of the Month by his instructors as and
peers for demonstrating strengths in the areas of: character, attitude and disposition;
respectfulness; class attendance; hands-on participation; leadership and
responsibility; extracurricular activities; fire service spirit; academics;
good work ethic; and conduct. The FVCC

future employment in today’s fire service.”
“Sam always comes to class
prepared and ready to learn. He also
participates in all class activities and does a great job of doing his daily
checks on the equipment. He took the
initiative to set up and make a checklist for the “jump” bag to respond to
emergencies.”
“CeCe is a very bright young
lady that is excelling academically in EMT class. She is an excellent student, and she is a
pleasure to have in class.”
“Leo is one of the hardest
workers in the classroom. When others
may be distracted, he is quietly pulling ahead.
He is extremely good at helping other students. I don’t know what I’d do without him in this
class. He not only does his own work on
time and with excellent results, but he also helps others every single day.”
“Johnny Franco was nominated
by his peers as Student of the Month for his awesome design technique, hard
work, focus, kindness, and sharing his voice in class. I’m excited that Johnny is such a big part of
the Graphics community. He puts forth
such a strong effort in everything he does; his input and critiques are honest
and constructive. His approach to
learning and his peers will really make his future bright!”
“Ben has taken on some very
difficult projects in class and has always finished them successfully. He has great attendance and gets along well
with his fellow students. He is not
afraid to ask for help but always tries to solve the problem himself. He participates in shop cleanup, doing more
than his share of the work. He has some
plans for bringing in some big projects, and I am excited for the challenge.”
“Caitlyn is an incredibly
talented and intelligent young woman.
She is excelling in PBS and producing amazing quality of work. She displays a high level of critical
thinking skills. Her work is always
neat, complete and thorough. She is
always polite and courteous to me and others in class.”

student. He currently has the highest
grade in the class and earned a perfect score on the semester final exam! This young man will be successful at whatever
he puts his mind to.”
